Sportpunter's NFL Bets are back again in 2005/2006
and the best news is that they are free once again. Last year
we were in the negative for a large majority of the year,
coming back strongly at the end to post a 4.5% ROI profit
for the year. However analysis of 50%+ overlays proved to
be very successfull,as they have been over the past years.

Analysis of previous years for the Sportpunter
NFL Analysis has gone beyond all expectations.
The Sportpunter's NFL Model is now up and
running. We've done analysis into the past four years of data.
We've collected odds from these years and using a hold out
sample, we've worked out how we would have gone. Unlike other
websites, our results are not biased: we made the model as
good as possible up the start of the 2000-01 season and then
saw how it went for that season. We then redid that process
for the following year and so on.
The results are amazing. In the last four
years we've managed to make a masive 11.9% ROI. An initial
$1,000 bank has increased to over $22,000 (based on constant
full kelly betting), as shown in the graph below.
