Superbowl 2008

Had a watch of this game today, don't understand the rules but the second half was good.

I backed the Giants small, just for the general hoopla that the Patriot's unbeaten run caused in the media and the fact the Giants ran them close early in the season, so more of a gut feel bet than anything.

Not only was it a winning bet, but the fact that the result didn't fall within 1 point of the line like most American sports filled me with confidence. Is the NFL like the NBA where the only real value is with money line dogs, and has anyone here found it possible to beat Vegas?
Serenity now!

I find NFL hard(er) to beat. Because a season is so very short... so much room for variance.

NCAAF and NCAAB are a lot easier although having said that I'm having a torrid season so far.
